Several shots fired off, but the Inspector managed to jump out of the way, with springs on his legs that send him high into the air. Robocop now decided to actually get serious with his opponent, rather than dismissing him, and he pointed his Auto 9 at the troublesome detective. The sudden blast actually hurt Robocop and knocked him into his own police car.

Unfortunately, it had no effect on Robocop, who didn’t sleep like a normal human, and wasn’t particularly affecting by gaseous attacks, either. Gadget tried again with a “Go Go Gadget Flower”, squirting out sleeping gas to try and leave his opponent unconscious. Robocop kneed Inspector Gadget, then followed through with a punch.
Just to make sure he’d have Robocop down, he decided to bonk Robocop on the neck with a “Go Go Gadget Mallet” that sprouted from his hat. The Inspector pulled back out his handcuffs, went over to Robocop, and picked him back up, making a second attempt to arrest who he thought was the criminal. Robocop fell to the ground and had a slightly difficult time getting up, kind of like a turtle on its back. However, it seemed to be enough to set Robocop off balance and trip him, as ridiculous as that would seem. “I thought I’d gotten that fixed”, said Inspector Gadget to Robocop as he stepped in toothpaste. Unfortunately, what came out instead was toothpaste. Gadget wouldn’t have that, as he decided to try and trip up Robocop by saying “Go Go Gadget Oil Slick!” and shooting it onto the ground. “Leave me to my job, Inspector”, he stated as he started to walk away. Robocop was quite startled by this, but as he came in close, he picked up Gadget by the neck and tossed him away onto the sidewalk. “Go Go Gadget Magnet!” he shouted as magnets came out of his shoes, forcibly pulling Robocop towards him. Gadget decided that if the long range approach wouldn’t work, then maybe bringing the criminal up-close would be better. “Ouch! This robot really packs a punch! I guess I’m going to have to get serious to make this arrest!” Robocop punched the cuffs out of the man’s bionic hand, the arm pulled back, and Gadget shook his hand in pain. Robocop thought to himself that this man was severely misguided, but suddenly was even more confused as the man said “Go go Gadget Handcuffs!” and handcuffs came out from his forearms, then he extended his arm outward, much further than a normal human would, and tried to cuff Robocop. You’re a guard robot working for the kidnappers, sent out to stop me from stopping them! You even got rid of the local law enforcement before I got here, judging by that empty police car! Those MAD agents employ a lot of highly advanced technology, but even if you’re the latest thing that’s standing in my way, I’m still taking you out, you sinister cyborg!” I am here to make an arrest.” “That’s what I was here to do, you fiend! You can’t fool me. “Stop in the name of the law! I’m Inspector Gadget, and I’m here to take you down, you MAD machine!” “Sir, I am not a criminal. It seemed his instinct was correct, as the man quickly introduced himself. However, another, different-looking police vehicle, one Robocop hadn’t seen before, quickly pulled up across the street from his car, and a man in a grey trench coat and hat soon stepped out. Robocop stomped out immediately, gun held up and ready to take out these creeps. He had to look for it himself, since even the car’s locating systems couldn’t pinpoint it exactly. He pulled up in a particularly rundown neighborhood, the closest enough lead to a secret area where the hostages were being held. It required Robocop, who was the cop behind the wheel right now, and already close in his pursuit. This was a serious case, and it required someone who could get it done fast. A police car sped through Detroit, on the chase for a group of terrorists who had taken several hostages.
